Impression Obsession “Last Minute Holiday Cards” Challenge

Good Thursday morning and welcome to the Impression Obsession “Last Minute Holiday Cards” design team challenge.  We all experience the occasion each year where we need to have a few extra holiday cards on hand for “just in case”.  I made my fast easy card today using the Impression Obsession Stocking Stuffer Stamp Set and Stocking Stuffers Die Set paired with a sprig of holly from the  Wreath Builder set.

I cut the stocking die once with red cardstock and then again using a sweet piece of designer paper from the Crate Paper Falala paper pad.  I hand cut the top of the red stocking and toes using my scissors and attached them to the decorative stocking with glossy accents.  I added a sprig of holly and a few little white berries using Nuvo Crystal Drops Glossy White.  I attached the small bow loop for a hanger using glue dots.

I placed the white cardstock and stamp in my MISTI, applied black versafine and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. The white sentiment strip is 3/4” deep and the red layer is 1” deep.  I attached the white layer to the red using ATG adhesive and then attached them to the card base using thin strips of mounting tape.  The stocking was attached to the card base using mounting tape and glue dots.
