Class of 2017 Graduation

Good Sunday morning.  My project today is a graduation card made using the Impression Obsession Class Of set, Mortarboard and Scroll, Grads Walking, Congratulations and All-in-One Frames Rectangles 2. This card is for the son of my good friends and his school colors are dark blue and gold.  I think they look so striking together.  Here’s a link to a post showing some other fun graduation cards made using these dies.

I applied double stick tape to the back of the frames and attached them together to create the triple matted frame and attached it to the card base using mounting tape.  I cut both gold and blue letters and numbers and attached them together using glossy accents to highlight them.  I did the same with the graduate.  I attached rolled strips of double stick tape to the back of the letters and numbers and attached them to the card base. The graduate was attached to the base with double layered mounting tape.

I used one of the smaller sections of the all in one frames to place on the inside of the card to frame the mortarboard and scroll.  All of the pieces were attached with mounting tape.

The congratulations sentiment was attached on the lower section of the card with glossy accents.
