Christmas Eve Morning Coffee

Good Christmas Eve morning!  I had so much making my Christmas Morning Tea card for my post yesterday that I had to make a similar one with the Impression Obsession Coffee Set. I framed the set with the Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames and embellished with pieces of Pine Pair and a gold multi loop bow.

I started but cutting out the coffee pot and mugs from a piece of designer paper.  The pieces looked a little dull so I thought I would add some sparkle by applying pink Wink of Stella around the edges.  It didn’t really add much so I went a little crazy and just completely covered the pieces.  LOL!  I cut a second pot and cut off the handle, spout and lid and popped them up over the pot base to add a tiny bit of dimension. The spoons were cut with gold foil paper. I cut two little scalloped white napkins with the smallest die from the Scalloped Classic Square set.

So…..when I got ready to cut the frame I couldn’t find a paper that matched the crazy color of pink I created on the designer paper.  I finally cut the frame using a dark pink paper and covered them with the pink Wink of Stella to make them match.  Oh brother!  The sparkle is overboard on both the frames and the mugs and pot but there was no turning back.  I attached the pieces to the frame and card base with mounting tape.  I added a few sprigs of pine to the top of the frame and finished it with the gold multi loop bow.

I added a tiny pine sprig to the pot top and finished with three gold punched circles.  I thought it was cut to have one of the spoons laying on the napkin and one down in the mug.

  1. I just laughed out loud at you and the Wink of Stella comments….sometimes I don’t know when to quit….LOL However, I don’t think you went too far at all….love your card. Don’t think there’s too much sparkle at all. I love the Wink of Stella pens…only have two….clear and green (luna, I think it’s called)….I tend to use the clear most of the time.
Thanks for another year of wonderful inspiration. You are truly wonderful. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
