All Inside Bear Halloween Scene

Good Tuesday morning.  Ellen Hutson released Julie’s All Inside Stamp Set and coordinating All Inside Die Set early in 2016 and they have become very popular.  In the summer of 2016 Bear Ware Stamp Set and Bear Ware Die Set  were released with a wonderful collection of images to coordinate with the All Inside bear.  Due to the popularity of the Bear Ware accessory images Julie created a new coordinating accessory set of Halloween and Christmas images- Bear Ware 2 Stamp Set and Bear Ware 2 Die Set.  I have to admit that these are my favorite images.  Since I hate spooky and gory Halloween stuff I especially love the fun and innocent images in the set.  I will have to play with the Christmas images very soon. I wonder what Julie will come up with next for this precious bear? The frames were made using the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangle Stackables and Hero Arts Infinity Nesting Rectangles.  The leaves were made using the Impression Obsession Oak Leaves and Rake set.

I started by securing the cardstock and stamps in my MISTI, applied ink and stamped them all at once.  Using my MISTI also allowed me to stamp the images a second time to get  good crisp images.  I heat set the images before coloring.

I don’t often color with my Copic markers since I am so challenge with them but I figured I couldn’t go too wrong for these fun cartoony images. Once they were all cut out with the coordinating dies I used the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens- Amethyst, Harvest Moon and Emerald Green to add sparkle to the mask, leaves, hat trim and pumpkin.  Sadly all that sparkle doesn’t show well in the photos.  I love the different theme colored Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen sets

The front frame was attached to the green layer using thin strips of mounting tape. They were both attached to the back scalloped layer with double stick tape and then they were attached to the card base using double stick tape.

I assembled all the pieces to create my scene.  The mask, hat and Jack-o-Lantern were attached to the bear using glue dots.  The Boo bag was attached using a small piece of mounting tape. The bear was attached to the card base using mounting tape. The leaves were attached to the tree using glossy accents and then the tree was attached to the card base with thin strips of mounting tape.  The broom and cat were attached with mounting tape.  I finished by applying a few leaves falling from the tree and to the frame.

I certainly wouldn’t be scared if this guy came to my door Trick-or-treating because he looks so cute with his witch costume and little kitty friend.

Thanks for coming by and I hope you are having a great day.

Halloween Scene Cards

Good Thursday morning.  I have fun Halloween cards to share with you today.  I am not fond of spooky or scary Halloween cards and Impression Obsession has some  new scene dies that are cartoony and fun.  I thought I would take a few step by step photos of to show how fast and easy these  framed scene cards come together.  The first card was made using the Witch Line and the second with the Halloween Scene

Here’s my second card that was just as fast and easy as the card above.  The Halloween Scene die creates it’s own frame.  I cut it out using a 4.50” black frame.

I attached the die cut frame to the 5.00” square card base using thin strips of mounting tape and dressed it up by adding an orange scalloped frame from the All-in-One Frames Circles for a little bit more contrast for the scene.

Impression Obsession “Halloween/Fall Harvest” Challenge

Good Thursday morning and welcome to the Impression Obsession “Halloween/Fall Harvest”  design team challenge.  I have a fun project to share with you for the challenge made using the Halloween Web, Halloween Set, Spider Trio, Mini Bats and Ghosts. The frame was cut using the Spellbinders Classic Circles.

I started by applying ATG adhesive around the circle on the back of the frame.  I lined the web up and attached it to the back of the frame.  I applied mounting tape to the back of the frame and on a few key spots on the Happy Halloween words and attached it to the card base.

I cut a small piece of yellow cardstock, applied yellow stickles, let it dry and attached it behind the Jack-O-Lantern using mounting tape.  The Jack-O-Lantern, ghosts and spider were attached to the base using mounting tape.  The bats were attached to the web using touches of glossy accents.

KC Impression Obsession Spider Trio 1 Combined

Our theme today is Halloween and I had fun making projects that aren’t really too spooky.  Well…unless you’re scared to death of spiders. LOL!  My large card was made using the new  Spider Trio, Spider Web Background and the All-in-One Frames Rectangles 2. I applied double stick tape to the back of the frame, cut a small portion off the Spider Web Background so it would fit and attached it to the frame.  I applied thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame and attached it to the card base.  All three spiders were attached to the card base with doubled pieces of mounting tape.

The small 3” X 3” card was made using the new Bat with Sign and All-in-One Frames Squares.  The bat, sign and frame were all attached to the card base with mounting tape.  Fun, fast and easy and perfect to put in with a special Halloween treat.
