Good Thursday morning and welcome to the Impression Obsession “Fun with Flowers” design team challenge. My project today was made using the Small Flourish Background, Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames, Spring Wreath, Foliage and Tiny Flowers.
I started by attaching the frame and flourish background together using double stick tape. I applied thin strips of mounting tape to the back border of the frame, one larger piece right in the middle of the flourish background and a few small pieces behind a few key leaves and attached it to the card base. I attached the oval piece right over top of the center mounting tape to use as a base for my floral arrangement. I cut several of the flowers from the Spring Wreath set, formed them with my stylus and molding pad and attached two larger flower sections and one tiny flower together with glossy accents. I cut and formed lots of Tiny Flowers and cut two sections of Foliage and cut them in smaller pieces.
I created a base for the flowers by arranging and attaching the foliage pieces on the oval base with glossy accents. The three flowers were attached to the foliage base with glossy accents. Once the flowers were secure I tucked a few more pieces of foliage around them to fill in. The tiny flowers were attached to multiple places on the flourish background. I love the lavender and white color combination but I had a really hard time getting good clear pictures.
Why don’t you come along and play with us. To enter the challenge go to the Impression Obsession Blog (all the details are there!). A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog and you can enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing! I hope you will go check out what the other IO teams members created for the challenge.
