Paper Crafting Supply Sale

Good afternoon, I have been going back and forth in my thoughts about whether to sell or donate some large, heavy items that would be costly to mail.  I’m going to post them with a price of the item and postage will have to be figured by your zip code.  Please contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions or would like to make a purchase. You can find the sale items here.

Floral Border and In Bloom

Good Tuesday afternoon.  I am off work this week and am supposed to be cleaning, straightening and purging my craft space.  Oh boy!  What a huge job.  So I decided to play with something other than Christmas for a change.  I’m usually sad to see the holidays go and putting an end to making Christmas cards but I am more ready this year. My project was made using the new Hero Arts Floral Border with Frame, Susan’s Garden Notes Hydrangea 2, Impression Obsession Foliage and Martha Stewart Hydrangea Punch.  The gorgeous paper is Scrapberry’s In Bloom and was sent to me as a gift from a my dear friend  Eva  from the Netherlands.

I decided to create a totally white frame using the Floral Border so the background paper could be the main focal point.  I cut the card base at 5.25” and attached the paper with ATG adhesive. I cut the frame layer 5.00”, centered the floral die and ran through my Big Shot.  I applied mounting tape to the back of the frame and attached it to the card base.

I punched and die cut several hydrangea blossoms, formed them with my stylus and molding pad and attached the flowers together with glossy accents.  I cut a couple full sections of Foliage and cut them apart to arrange with the flowers.KC Hero Arts Floral Border with Frame 2 center

I attached the foliage to the frame with glossy accents and then attached the flowers.  I tucked a few more sections of foliage around the flowers to fill in.  I used Pretty Pink Posh 3mm cupped Sparkling Clear sequins in the flower centers and attached a few around the inner frame and on the frame to add an additional feminine touch to the piece.

Thanks for coming by and I hope you have a great day.

Joy to the World

Good morning and Merry Christmas.  My Christmas morning project was made using the Impression Obsession Joy to the World sentiment die and paired with the Pine Pair and  Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangle Stackables.

The scalloped layers were attached to the card base with mounting tape. The sentiment was attached with tiny pieces of mounting tape applied to the larger letter sections of the sentiment.

The pine was arranged and attached to the top corner using glossy accents. The multi loop bow was attached with glue dots.

I love the gorgeous Impression Obsession Joy to the World sentiment and wanted to share it for my Christmas morning post.  It truly is the reason for our celebration during this special time of year.  Bob and I wish you and your loved ones a blessed Christmas.
